Rain, Rain, Go Away!
I don’t know about you guys but when it rains I just want to stay home. It is still fun to play in the rain every once in while right? If you can’t play in the rain now then most defiantly let your kids play outside and let them enjoy the fun though. While they play and laugh and scream, you get to enjoy your fun of relaxing in this warm and cozy room all to yourself. In every way this room gets relaxed. You are going to need it when its time to take the shower and settle down the kids.
This room radiates transitional sophistication with complete comfort. The sofa and chairs were designed for comfort and long hours of visiting draped in an upholstered fabric that brings freshness to the space. This brick red-and-gray inspired design is soft on the eyes yet sophisticated enough to make a statement. Flanking the sofa are two smartly designed three-drawer ebony chests, with removable serving trays and complimented with silver accent pulls. Atop these chests are interesting foo dog lamps with a red base and a gold over-wash with a beautiful golden exterior, reminiscent of an aged reclaimed statue. The oversize shades in a beautiful washed gold have an interior silk with a pattern that compliments the upholstered fabric on the sofa and chair. They are truly a must have! Flanking each chair are two ebony occasional tables accented with silver rings and complimented with a black-glass inlay. A simple, yet very chic ebony coffee table simplifies the space yet functions perfectly for your needs. The four elegantly-slender, silver-washed accent mirrors are the perfect backdrop to simplify the sophistication of the space. The 8×10 gold spaghetti-styled designer rug adds the perfect texture for a finishing touch when a Gracious Getaway is needed.

It is winter time and there isn’t a doubt in anyone’s mind about that. Over the past week we were told that 49 out of the 50 states had snow in them. Now that is a lot of cold out there. How do we fight that cold? With this room…
This black, custom-couture inspired sofa and club chair, designed by Monique, exude clever chic and are luxuriously durable. To add a punch of color to the space, the fuschia and black chairs were an obvious solution to complement this look. The room is completed by two rectangle and lacquered zebra-finished petite benches which are a clever solution for resting tired feet and legs or use as a coffee table. The glamorous crystal lamps are adorned with black-sheer shades and sit on top of the half-moon side tables finished in chic ebony and allow for ample storage. When the lamps are illuminated, the crystals shine through, adding to the ambience of this room. Between the two fuschia chairs are two fabulous half-moon tables, set back-to-back, for a charming round look. With two center drawers and silver-tipped feet, this piece is sure to be a captivating accessory in this design. The stiletto round table with the mirrored inset, adorned with chrome-tipped feet is the perfect place to showcase your many photographs. These elegantly-scrolled, rectangular-framed mirrors enhance the centered beveled oval mirror accentuated with an interesting pearl modeling and an overall finish of silver and gold-leaf wash. Four additional accent pillows are featured with the bed set. Two custom-designed ottomans accented with a jeweled flower which intersects the x’d piping on these precious cubes complete the look. Demilune side tables with fret work that allows for ample storage and are finished in chic ebony complete the ensemble. Torchere lamps are done in brushed gold with twisted silk shade and amazing finials. These elegantly scrolled rectangular-framed mirrors enhance the centered oval beveled mirror complete with an interesting pearl mottling and an overall finish of silver and gold-leaf wash. Our petite barrel chair covered in this lush micro-fiber matches the ottomans complete with an accent pillow embellished with faux pearls. The decorative round table with metal rings attached to each leg has a lovely black painted glass insert for the top. Across the room sits a deco-inspired ebony sideboard with convex glass on each of its three doors. Ample storage makes this cabinet both glamorous and a “must have”. Lounging is the new thing
What do you want to do on any Saturday? I always just want to lounge around and do nothing for as long as possible. I always succumb to the almighty sofa. It gets me every time. It probably gets you as well. And honestly, do we put up any fight?
See for us, the whole room keeps us there. The sofa, chairs, fuzzy rugs, and that television just make getting work done next to impossible. Here is our room.
Southern Hospitality at its finest. Let me tell you something—This southern designer knows something about southern hospitality!!! Comfort being of utmost importance in this room, this amazing brown ultra-plush fabric, partnered with this trendy zebra-inspired print, is a great solution for durability and class. For complete comfort and function, the oversized ottoman, used as a coffee table, creates an inviting atmosphere. The traditional- inspired end tables, made of solid plantation-grown pine with one drawer for storage, are a natural choice for this traditional cove. Bamboo-inspired lamps with a small monkey detail and a beautiful gold finial make the cream geometric shade stand proud. The sofa table with three drawers for storage convenience is made of the same hardwood and is a great solution for a TV or additional storage. Parked on the other side of the chair and a ½ is a beautiful accent table with a round top highlighted with metal-nail heads finished in antique brass. Atop the table is a monkey-style table lamp. In this cozy-styled southern space, Monique selected an art canvas, reminiscent of big city life, to remind you that the city is really just around the corner. This diamond inspired sculpted rug is an absolute must for the completion of this space and was selected by Monique as one of her most favorite picks!

What a great weekend to get refreshed!
I don’t know about you guys but down here at the headquarters, it was pretty cold. The weather was very unpredictable for everyone living in the south it seemed to be. Gladly enough for us we all had warm rooms and a nice place to get cozy. We are friends of the cozy blanket or the toasty bed. In today’s article we got that room that is our best friend.
This micro-fiber tufted headboard covered in rich chocolate brown embraces this dusty blue comforter set with two euro shams and five decorative pillows which projects a look of serenity. Two mocha-cubed ottomans finish the look. These three-drawer hardwood nightstands with removable serving trays for ample storage are accented with pewter pulls. The bronze mottled-finish candlestick lamps stand statuesque framing the bed. Our canvas art with built up layers of paint are known as “The Ruffles” and can be used on either side of the bed or placed in other areas of the room for equal impact. This lovely chagrin writing desk in ivory can be doubled as a console table for TV placement if necessary. The comfortable tailored tufted chair covered in a beautiful beige micro-fiber is the perfect accent for use as a writing desk or for additional seating. Adorning the desk for additional task lighting is a petite chrome lamp with shell shade. Completing this look is the 5×7 rug we call “Circles on Parade”–the final touch for complete relaxation.
That room gets us all snuggled up when the weather gets like it did last weekend. It will make you feel refreshed and make you take on the world, as soon as you can manage to get out of the warmth of that bed.
